By booking and using our sunbeds, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
⏰ Appointment Times & Lateness

• Please arrive on time for your booked slot.

• We allow a 10-minute leeway from your appointment time.

• If you arrive more than 10 minutes late without prior notice, your slot may be lost and offered to another client.

• If you think you may be late, please call the salon 01827 319806 and let us know — we’ll always try to help where possible 😊

• While we do our best to keep everything running on time, there may occasionally be a delay of up to 5 minutes if the previous client has run slightly late. Thank you for your patience — we promise we’re moving as fast as we can!
   

🔁 Cancellations & No-Shows

• We kindly ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or rearrange.

• Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in future bookings being restricted.
   

☀️ Sunbed Safety & Usage

• Sunbeds are used entirely at your own risk.

• You must be 18 years or older to use sunbeds — ID may be requested.

• Always follow the recommended exposure times provided by staff.

• Do not exceed advised minutes or use sunbeds more frequently than recommended.

• Protective eyewear must be worn at all times — no exceptions.
   

🚫 Health Restrictions
You must not use sunbeds if:

• You are pregnant (please confirm with your midwife they give you the green light.  This is at your own risk.

• You have a history of skin cancer or suspicious moles

• You suffer from light-sensitive medical conditions

• You are using medication or creams that increase light sensitivity (including some antibiotics, retinoids, or acne treatments)

• You have recently had cosmetic treatments that advise against UV exposure
  - Anti-Wrinkle Injections No sunbeds for at least 4 days
  - Laser Hair Removal 4 weeks 
  - waxing - 48 Hours 
  - dermaplaning 4-7 days 

If you are unsure — ask your beautitician.  Your skin comes before your tan.

💄 Products & Skin Prep

• Please remove make-up, perfumes, deodorants, and oils before tanning unless they are sunbed-approved products.

• Only products approved by Flamingo Bay may be used on our sunbeds.
  NO TINGLE CREAMS ARE ALLOWED ON OUR LIE DOWN BEDS
  NO OILS ARE ALLOWED IN OUR SALON - This is a dangerous Health & Safety Protacol
   

🧼 Hygiene & Cleanliness

• For everyone’s comfort and safety, sunbeds are cleaned thoroughly between each use.

• Please respect our equipment and facilities.
   

⚠️ Liability

• Flamingo Bay Tanning Studio cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions resulting from failure to follow advice, medical guidance, or these terms.

• By using our sunbeds, you confirm that you understand the risks associated with UV exposure.
   

🌸 General

• Management reserves the right to refuse service where safety guidelines are not followed.

• Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.
